Over the next few years (2021 to 2023), Üstra is planning to procure series-ready low-floor solo and articulated line buses with hybrid drives for use in its urban and urban network. Since Üstra generally uses subsidies for the procurement of regular buses and is therefore not yet able to finalize the specific procurement requirements, it would first like to conclude a framework agreement with a provider in accordance with Section 19 SektVO on the delivery of regular buses with hybrid drives with a term of up to 12/31/2023 close.

Framework agreements are orders that a client can award to one or more companies in order to define the conditions for individual orders that are to be awarded during a certain period of time, in particular the envisaged price. The difference in comparison to other types of award is the two-stage procurement process. In the first stage of this award procedure, a framework agreement is concluded with a bidder. In the second stage, individual orders are then placed on the basis of the framework agreement.
