Sonars. Sonar 2094 – In-service Support

1. The authority intends to place a single source contract with Kongsberg Geoacoustics Ltd to provide in-service support (ISS) to Sonar 2094 (S2094). This will provide all ISS elements, typically:

— Timely provision of new and serviceable (repaired) spares and consumables,

— Technical (maintainer) training,

— Engineering support and technical helpdesk,

— Obsolescence management,

— Upkeep of technical documentation pack (drawings and handbooks etc).

2. S2094 was developed under Private Venture funding by the Design Authority, Kongsberg Geoacoustics Ltd who claim the Intellectual Property Rights in the system.
