The Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden intend to hold a special exhibition in Dresden. The subject of the service tendered by the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden is the logistics planning and the transport of the works of art from an expected 10 lenders in Germany (15 loans), 5 in the Netherlands (15 loans), 1 in Hungary (1 loan), 1 in Ireland (2 -3 loans), 1-2 in the UK (1-2 loans) and 1 in the USA (1 loan) to Dresden and back.
- Overall coordination of the art logistical handling of the project;
- the measurement of the exhibits for the production of the corresponding packaging (climate boxes, etc.). Most of them are small to medium format paintings, very few sculptures and objects of medium size;
- New production or rental of appropriate packaging (climate control boxes, etc.);
- Packing of the individual works by the lenders;
- Loading the packed exhibits onto the respective means of transport;
- transports;
- Courier organization and support including travel planning, hotel booking, if necessary, application for appropriate visas, creation of courier plans;
- If necessary, timely completion of all necessary customs formalities as well as obtaining all necessary permits;
- Unloading of the packed exhibits as well as bringing them into the exhibition rooms / removal from the exhibition rooms and loading of the packed exhibits after the end of the exhibition;
- Unpacking the exhibits at the exhibition site / packing the exhibits after the exhibition at the exhibition site / unpacking the exhibits after returning to the lenders;
- If required, external storage of the empty boxes at the exhibition location, including appropriate transport to and from the storage location
Start of order implementation in the first quarter of 2021
Order completion by 3rd quarter 2021 at the latest.
