The purpose of the acquisition is the delivery of staff gifts from VR Group, or VR -Yhtymä Oy and its subsidiaries (hereinafter VR or Customer) in relation to uniformly recollection and retirement.
Other gifts related to remembering or rewarding staff may also be included in the acquisition agreement.
The aim of the acquisition is to acquire competently and cost-effectively gifts to remember staff, to be a pioneer in all activities consistent with values, and to provide the best and up-to-date products to staff.
Personnel gifts consist of a limited range of products defined and approved by VR that goes through 1-2 times a year with the supplier. The range of personnel gifts may also include separately defined gift cards, donations to charity, or other intangible gifts. The acquisition includes character day gifts, gift management, storage and deliveries.
VR's headcount is approximately 5800 at the time of publication of the announcement.
The contract period of the acquisition is 3+1+1 years.

The portfolio of personnel gifts as defined and approved by VR is based on the Vendor's existing portfolio of products, which is the Supplier's property and is controlled by it itself. VR pays only for the products it orders, meaning it does not pay separately for the storage of products, among other things, and is not obliged to redeem the products stolen by the Supplier.
The objective of the acquisition is that the Supplier undertakes, in partnership with VR, to develop a functional and cost-effective operating model that enables flexible and high-quality supply, orders via VR's own order channel, fast delivery times, good and flexible service, and innovative solutions for VR's diverse needs. The range of products to be acquired must serve all VR's professional, age and gender groups.
VR-Yhtymä Oy and its group companies, the staff at the time of the procurement notice is approximately 5800 staff.
In 2019, 706 copies of staff/character day commemorations were delivered,
in 2020, 462 copies and
in 2021 575 pieces.
The contract period is three (3) years + two (2) option periods, one (1) year at a time (3+1+1).
The object of the acquisition will be specified during negotiations and the final target of the acquisition will be described in the final invitation to tender.
