The city of Blankenberge wishes to be assisted by a design team for the construction of a new culture house and youth infrastructure.

To optimize the operation and to concentrate services on the one hand and because of the possibility of versatile use of spaces on the other, it is proposed to bring both services together in one complex.

The complex will be carried out in two phases. The construction budget for the first phase of the complex, the new culture house, has been set at EUR 7,000,000 (incl. VAT), including fees and study costs.

The construction budget for the second phase of the complex, the youth infrastructure, has not yet been determined.

The chosen location for the complex is the former finance building in the Groenstraat and the surrounding area.

To submit his candidacy, the candidate designer must provide the following documents:

a) the team's reference projects for:

- the discipline of architecture,

- the discipline of stability,

- the discipline of special techniques and expertise in energy,

- the acoustics discipline.

b) studies and professional qualifications of the team composition;

c) certificate of civil liability and recognition;

d) experience with public procurement legislation;

e) architectural vision

A maximum of five candidates will be selected from the applications submitted and invited to participate in phase 2 of the selection procedure.
