Vadsø municipality has entered into a 3 year framework agreement for interpretation services.

The scope of the agreement is estimated to be NOK 2 250 000.

The framework agreement comprises interpretation services over the telephone in the following languages: Arabic, Somali, Tigrinja, Dari, Pashto, Farsi, Nepalese, Sorani, Amharic, Russian. These languages cover approx. 90 % of the municipality’s need for interpretation services. The Contracting Authority needs interpreting in other languages, but the volume and which languages varies annually. Therefore there is provision for the Contracting Authority to be able to utilise other service providers to perform interpreting services in languages other than those listed here.

The annual scope is estimated to be NOK 750 000, altogether NOK 2 250 000 for the duration of the framework agreement. The annual volume may vary based on changes in need, grants, organisation and other framework terms. The Contracting Authority is not bound to a particular volume and will purchase as needed.
