The contracting authority, require a landscape architect and fire safety and disability access consultant for the design, procurement, construction and delivery of the project opera works, which includes the following:
Parcel 1: new build — modern offices at One Opera Square;
Parcel 2A: refurbishment and new build — residential units above retail at Patrick Street and Ellen Street Corner;
Parcel 2B: refurbishment — bar/restaurant at No 9 Ellen Street;
Parcel 3a4: refurbishment and new build — New City Library (Town Hall) on all floors including a café/restaurant at basement level and Commercial Office use;
Parcel 3b: refurbishment — retail at basement and ground floor with Residential over;
Parcel 5: new build — Landmark Office building; and
Parcel 6: refurbishment — Restaurant/Café/Licenced Premises uses on ground floor and office over.
The project opera site is a 3.7 acre site located in Limerick City between Rutland Street, Patrick Street, Ellen Street, Michael Street and Bank Place.
