Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE) owns the regulated electricity transmission and distribution network in Northern Ireland. NIE is responsible for the construction and maintenance of the network as well as the operation of the electricity distribution network, which transports electricity to over 840 000 customers.

NIE operates on a 24 hours a day, 365 days a year basis because of our emergency provision responsibilities and licence obligations.

NIE wishes to appoint Contractors under framework agreements for the provision of Electrical Installation Services including (but not limited to) the following activities:

Lot 1 - Meter Installation Services

Lot 2 - Meter Certification Services

Lot 3 - Undereave and Service Cable Replacement

Lot 4 - Substation Electrical Installation Services
