The World Federation of the Deafblind (WFDB) has been acknowledged and recognized as the legitimate global voice of persons with deafblindness. WFDB aims to improve the quality of life of people with deafblindness worldwide. It is a member of The International Disability Alliance (IDA), an alliance of eight global and six regional organizations of persons with disabilities, advocating at the UN for a more inclusive global environment for persons with disabilities and their organizations, supporting this call for tender as the contracting authority.
