The procurement is for the main contract Kvassnesvegen, which is work that is included in the cooperation between Lindås Municipality and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration for the development of public infrastructure in the centre of Knarvik. This contest is for the first of a total of 3 contracts.

The contract is for the alteration/lowering of the existing Kvassnesvegen, with adaptations to the side terrain/roads, as well as technical infrastructure such as water, sewage and surface water pipelines and cable ditches. In addition the contract includes moving the existing public transport terminal in Kvassnesvegen to a temporary location along the E39 in front of the shopping centre, and the establishment of a temporary roundabout.

The project is located in the centre of Knarvik in Lindås Municipality, Hordaland County. The site area is in/along Kvassnesvegen on the south side of the E39.
