The AWIGO waste management district Osnabrück GmbH is indirectly a wholly-owned subsidiary of the district of Osnabrück. For the approximately 360 000 inhabitants in 34 cities, municipalities and joint municipalities, it is responsible for the organization of the public disposal and thus also for the green waste collection.

Compostable green waste from garden, park and green areas can be delivered to 31 green spaces in the district of Osnabrück. The annual amount total amount is about 55 000 t.

In this invitation to tender, the contracting authority awards the contract for the exploitation of part of the green waste mentioned above. There are about 10 000 Mg green waste per year to recycle.

The quantities are delivered by a third party commissioned by the AWIGO waste management district of Osnabrück GmbH from the green collection sites to the recycling plant, which is mandatorily designated by the contractor. The contractor must carry out the weighing of the waste at its recovery facility. The collection and transport of green waste are not part of this tender.

Total quantity or scope of the order:

Approximately 10 000 Mg of untreated green waste per year are to be recycled.
