9. Moving/Handling. Trafford Council is leading on behalf of the Association of GM Authorities (AGMA). AGMA is a partnership between Local Authorities and other public sector bodies in the GM area. Members are: Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Manchester, Rochdale,Tameside,Trafford& Wigan. Associate Members: Blackburn w/ Darwen,Blackpool,Cheshire East & Warrington, TfGM,GMFRS, GMP & GMWDA. It will be available for use by any District Council, Public Sector body, Educational establishment & NHS bodies. 6 Councils are committed; Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Salford, Wigan, Warrington, Salford Royal and 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trusts,Warrington Disability Partnership, Halton Borough Council & Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Trust.

Equipment to assist support with bathing/and or showering. i.e.Bath seat and bath boards.

Bath lift, a portable seat, which is battery operated to raise and lower the client into the bath.

Items to assist client with toileting requirements. Commodes, toilet seats, toilet frames.

Items to assist clients in bed,arising and retiring to bed. e.g. Bed rails, mattress variations, Bed raiser and back rest.

Chairs and risers to assist clients in seating and being seated comfortably.

Grab rails, steps and adaptations to assist clients moving around the house.

Kitchen Household equipment to assist clients in terms of safety, comfort and promote independence. trolley walkers, perching stools, ever the bed table etc.

Products to assist clients mobility consisting of walking aids to promote safety and independence.

Products to assist in moving clients safely. Handling belts, ramps, transfer board.
