Nordværk I/S owns, operates and produces heat from two waste incineration plants (L2 and L3) at the energy plant in Hjørring located at Mandøvej 4, 9800 Hjørring.
Nordværk I/S is expected to receive a revised environmental permit effective from 3 December 2023. The revised environmental permit will require the separation of fly ash and slag. The existing ash system collects fly ash from several draughts and ECO for furnace lines 2 and 3 with the bottom ash. Nordværk I/S wishes to separate the fly ash from furnace line 2 (features 2, 3, 4 and 5, as well as ECO) and furnace line 3 (features 2, 3, superheaters and ECO) and collect it with the plant's other fly ash.
The tender covers the design, supply, installation and commissioning of an ash separation system for L2 and L3 as well as all other supplies and work services that may be necessary for the proper completion of the delivery.
The ash is collected from the existing system and transported independently to the existing ash silo. The draft principles given in the tender documents show one possible solution to the task, but it is the tenderer's freedom to vary in whole or in part from the proposed solution.
The ash system must be a closed system and ash propagation outside the system must not take place.
The work is expected to include the following:
- Conversion of existing ash extraction system
- Establishment of new transport system with shredder in the basement
- Shredding device, possibly with sieve (Shredding < 5 mm)
- Collection/transmitting container
- Ash transmission system to existing silo
- Supply panel for L2, L3 and common installations
- Management description and programming basis for SRO
- Design, instrumentation and execution of complete electrical installations
- Necessary platforms and stairs
- Installation, commissioning and testing
- Documentation, training and CE marking
- Insulation of existing silo
- Special tools and wear parts for two years of operation
The offering also includes an option on price and specification for delivery of strategic spare parts for 2 years after acquisition. Strategic spare parts are to be considered as parts with an expected service life of more than two years, but which the tenderer recommends purchased in order to maintain high availability.
