The municipal company Bezirkskliniken Mittelfranken is one of the largest hospital companies in the Middle Franconia region in the field of psychiatry, psychotherapy, psychosomatics as well as neurology and geriatric rehabilitation. The functional and space program has a target room program area NUF of approx. 6,000 m². The planning services are commissioned in accordance with §53 ff HOAI in conjunction with Annex 15 - ELT, ALG 4-6, service phases 7-9 in accordance with the engineering contract for technical equipment HAV-COM, specified by the ZVB. The services are to be started following the award procedure. As a special service with evaluation, the incorporation and review of the existing service phases 5 and 6 is remunerated.

The District Hospitals of Middle Franconia are building a specialist clinic for psychosomatics at the site of the Treuchtlingen Hospital. The property is publicly accessible via the streets Wettelsheimer Straße and Oettinger Straße.
The fire brigade attack routes are to be maintained during the construction period, as are entrances for other uses. An extreme spatial and atmospheric situation of the property and a permanent noise pollution can be countered with the structural concept in a targeted and consistent manner, especially against the background of the use of a psychosomatic hospital.
The following key points must be taken into account in particular during the development of the structural systems:
-Establishment of an independent focus of psychosomatic care with 140 inpatient treatment places,
-separation of places of accommodation and therapy,
-Hotel design for the patient rooms, accommodation and food supply,
-Attractive common areas/open spaces.

The project costs (cost group 200-700) are estimated at approx. 60,000,000.00 EUR.
The planning services are commissioned in accordance with §53 ff HOAI in conjunction with Annex 15 - ELT, ALG 4-6, service phases 7-9 specified by the additional contractual provisions to the engineering contract for technical equipment.

In the course of the project so far, the bored pile wall has already been erected and the old existing hospital has been demolished. The structural work is currently underway. With regard to the responsibility for electrical planning, the trades of construction electricity and elevator systems have so far been commissioned.
