The municipality of Keltern is planning to build a new fire station between the districts of Dietlingen and Ellmendingen. Access is via an already laid access road from "Im Speiterling", district of Dietlingen. It is a "building of building class 3 as a special construction". The building and its outdoor facilities extend along the L562.
The building is divided into two-storey office and administrative uses, a vehicle hall with 9 gates and 8 vehicle parking spaces, a workshop building and a training tower. It is a reinforced concrete construction with green flat roofs and a curtain wall wooden façade. The roof of the vehicle hall consists of prefabricated trusses with a trapezoidal sheet metal support. In some cases, exterior and interior walls made of concrete must be executed in visual quality. The entire building will be filled in on the ground floor facing south to the 1st floor and integrated into the landscape by the outdoor facilities trade. The building plot has been largely established by a preliminary measure. To the south of the property there is a shotcrete wall up to 10 m high for permanent slope stabilization.
Parts of the vehicle hall are spanned by a skylight as a timber construction. The façade consists in parts of an exposed concrete shell. The majority of the façade cladding is as board formwork
planned.
