The subject matter of the contract is to identify main achievements of cohesion policy in all areas of transport-related infrastructure in terms of outputs as well as analyse to what extent the EU support contributed to the creation of comprehensive transport networks, both at the trans-European (TEN-T) and national levels, in terms of financial input and physical outcomes. It will also identify weaknesses of cohesion policy intervention in transport and explore directions this policy should take in the future to maximise effectiveness.
