Narvik municipality (abbreviated NK), henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, invites to an open tender contest for delivery of school books and professional literature.

Through this tender contest the Awarding Authority intends to enter into the financially most advantageous agreement regarding delivery of school books and professional literature.

The objective for the Awarding Authority is to get access to a variety of teaching aids which shall cover a wide range in the education of children and youngsters. The Awarding Authority will require access to teaching materials, educational books, concretising materials and digital teaching sites related to various subjects and topics from the curriculum for the primary and lower secondary school.

The tenderer shall offer a wide assortment of educational books for all subjects in the primary and lower secondary schools. The Awarding Authority has not yet reached a decision in relation to assortment, but requests that each participants included in the agreement shall have the best possible choice of action in relation to alternatives. All schools in Narvik municipality have school libraries and replacement of books in the library shall be consecutively for all genres. The assortment is therefore significant in regards to books in the school library
