The purpose of the tender is to reach a moving services agreement consisting of:

- project removals; removals arising from construction or relocation projects,

- storage of inventory; storing furniture after or during project removals and furniture rounds,

- furniture rounds; delivering furniture to the locations after an order from the storage database and vice versa,

- facility services; performing facility (relocation) activities that were previously carried out by our own facility employees,

- art transport; transporting art,

- ICT equipment; decoupling, moving and connecting ICT equipment during large-scale removals.

The number of relocation movements varies greatly per year. Historical data shows that on average about 100 moves per year take place, this includes monthly furniture rounds, storage, work orders, projects and art transport. About half of all relocation movements concern assignments / work orders (on average one to two days), a quarter of the relocation movements concern storage (continuous) and furniture rounds (an average of four days) and a quarter concern project relocations (an average of five to ten days with overrun at extreme large project removals).

For the foreseeable future, it is difficult to predict the contract value, in particular, of the project removals. The relocation projects differ per year and depend entirely on the disposal of old buildings and the layout of new buildings and the growth / shrinkage of institutes. It is also of great influence whether or not to reuse furniture. Fontys cannot estimate the future size of small moving jobs and the moving of IT equipment.
