Hjelmeland municipality, henceforth also referred to as the contracting authority, is inviting tenderers to a tender contest for a new framework agreement for carpentry work with accompanying materials.
The contracting authority shall enter into a framework agreement for the purchase of carpentry work and disciplines as described below (the work), with associated materials, including:
- alteration work and improvements
- repairs
- maintenance
- smaller renovation and reconstruction work
for the building stock owned and/or managed by the contracting authority, where the following disciplines are included in the work:
- joinery work and assembly of wooden structures
- concrete and masonry work
- assembly of products and building elements
- roofing work and membrane work
- painting work
- flooring and tiling
The framework agreement does in general not include work in connection with projects where work is carried out as parts of a large renovation or turnkey project. However, the contracting authority reserves the right to use the framework agreement in such projects when deemed appropriate.
The contracting authority will reserves the right to call for tenders from several contractors for larger work - including assignment with an estimated value exceeding NOK 100,000 excluding VAT.

Total area approx. 27,980 m2.
There may also be parts of municipal buildings and plants described above, which are already covered by other, existing maintenance agreements/framework agreements and are consequently not included in this framework agreement.
