The Danish Maritime Authority offers a contract for the purchase of development and implementation services in connection with the development of the IT system Digital Ship Register.
The Danish Maritime Authority's existing ship registers (the Norwegian Ship Register, the Danish International Ship Register and the Vessel Register), including the applied professional system, are today based on an outdated technology and a not fully digitized process. On average, the Norwegian Ship Register handles approx. 3,300 registration reviews.
The goal of the offered task is to develop a fully digitized ship register, including a new professional system, in order to ensure that the Danish Maritime Authority can also serve its customers in the best possible way in the future by quick registration of received reviews.
An information meeting about the tender will be held on Thursday, April 11 at. 09:00 at the Danish Maritime Authority, Carl Jacobsens Vej 31, 2500 - registration for attendance at meetings is announced via the electronic tender system.
The task includes, as an option, maintenance of the new system, see under cl. II.2.11 for description thereof.
The starting point is first and foremost to ensure that the needs of the business are handled, but then also to ensure that the management of the needs is realized through a cost-effective implementation of the digitization project, which is at the same time of a high quality.
The system must as far as possible be based on standard systems that are adapted to the specific needs of the Board, as well as being able to be part of the existing IT environment, where it must be able to play with the Board's Microsoft Dynamics CRM system platform. We work with different types of data that are linked from different systems. The supplier must therefore, either alone or in collaboration with others, be able to handle different types of data, database structures and data models in connection with the development and / or implementation of systems.
The solution must be operated by Statens IT on their standard platform and environments.
The system must partly consist of a user interface where they approx. 10 employees in the ship register must carry out the daily case processing. In addition, there must be an external user interface for the ship register's total approx. 3,300 annual reviews.
The Danish Maritime Authority wants a user-friendly solution that gives the user a high degree of security and a digital guide that ensures effective registration. The solution must take into account that the system is used by customers both in Denmark and internationally.
The Danish Maritime Authority focuses on agile development, and the Board emphasizes that the supplier's employees have extensive experience with the method, as well as being able to be physically present in the Board to be able to exploit the synergies that this form of development allows, including the connection to the business.
It is expected that the solution excl. options are within a total range of DKK 8-10,000,000. The final price is determined first when submitting tenders and depends on the solution chosen.
