The scope and purpose of the contract

A tender contest for a framework agreement on laundry services for bedding, towels, facecloths, duvets and pillows belonging to the municipality's institutions and housing accommodations; mainly short-term/rehabilitation and dementia care services.

This tender contest is limited to companies or programmes where the main objective is to integrate disabled or disadvantaged persons into the working life. Cf. the Public Procurement Regulations' §16-9. See the requirement specification point 1.6.

The municipality currently owns all of the textiles and only laundry services shall therefore be procured. It may however, be relevant to hire some or all type of textiles during the framework agreement period.

The contract value is estimated to: 600 000 NOK excluding VAT, per annum. The value is an estimate based on statistics and accounting figures for the procurement of equivalent services for the same buyer group for previous years, as well as future budgets. The value must therefore be considered an estimate and is not binding.
