The contract is for border marking of a total of 26 protected areas within Åmot, Trysil, Stor-Elvdal and Rendalen municipalities in Hedmark (assignment 1). The contracting authority plans to mark the borders of a further 22 protected areas in Hedmark (assignment 2) after assignment 1 has been completed. The number of areas included in assignment 2 can be increased. The process for awarding assignment 2 will be a competition without prior negotiations.

Detailed information on each of the areas — as far as it is possible to obtain — will be made available for tenderers.

The contracting authority will provide the necessary materials for the assignment (border markers and spears for putting into the ground or rock as well as protection signs).

The contract for sub project 1 is estimated to have a value of approximately 1 500 000 NOK. The total extent for sub projects 1 and 2 is estimated to be 2 500 000 NOK. The assignment's size is therefore estimated to be above the EEA threshold based on the current calculations.
