Installation of the temporary signalling system for the track renewal in Dossenheimer Landstraße in Heidelberg

The measure described in the tender documents in the city of Heidelberg (Handschuhsheim district) covers the area of Dossenheimer Landstraße (B3) between Hans-Thoma-Platz and Handschuhsheim Nord.

In the course of the redesign of the Dossenheimer Landstraße, in addition to the track renewal, there will be a fundamental redesign of the road surfaces, including new construction and conversion of all underground line carriers. In different construction phases, the light rail traffic is to be maintained on a single track. In the individual construction phases for the respective single-track section of line, a provisional signalling system (FSA) with signals and associated RNV track switching equipment must be set up, wired and relocated after completion of the individual construction phases or dismantled again at the end of the last construction phase.
