The reinforcement work concerns the foundations of the 4 shafts of each pier P5 and P6, located in the minor bed of the Var river, and it will take place during the day.

As an indication, the work envisaged will be as follows:

- Construction of a site access in the bed of the Var from the road,

- Excavation of the existing riprap to the right of pier P6,

- Installation of watertight enclosures + permanent pumping to carry out a drawdown of the water table,

- Earthworks by suction to the bottom of the excavation,

- Concreting of the bottom of the excavation,

- Pile transplanting and passivation of existing steels,

- Reinforcement, formwork and concreting to make the protective shells,

- Backfilling of excavations and removal of sheet piles and pumping.

- Environmental protection: Typha Minima 20ml insulation tarpaulin, Lesser Plover insulation board: 200ml, Var flow pipe merlon: 100m3

- Buse earthworks: Clearing out of water for the creation of settling basins for piers P5 and P6: 1,200m3, Excavation in an aquatic site inside the armour of P5 and P6: 2,400m3

- Riprap: Removal of existing blocks around pier P6: 700m3

- Shielding – sheet piling: Installation of peripheral shielding by dark/driven sheet piles - Pier P5: 1,050m2, Installation of peripheral shields by dark/driven sheet piles - Pier P6: 750m2

- Pile reinforcement – metal corsets: Pile reinforcement with 8 mm ep steel ferrules - P5 pier: 13,500Kg, Pile reinforcement with 8 mm steel ferrules - P6 pile: 6,500Kg

- Reinforcement: Pile reinforcement – Self-consolidating concrete - Pier P5: 45m3, Pile reinforcement – Reinforcement for reinforced concrete - Pier P5: 2,200Kg, Pile reinforcement – Self-consolidating concrete - Pier P6: 22m3, Pile reinforcement – Reinforcement for reinforced concrete - Pier P6: 1,100Kg

As part of its tasks, the contract holder will ensure the implementation and administration of the electronic document management of the operation, in accordance with the requirements and nomenclature of the contracting authority.
