The proposed works contract will involve remediation of shallow soils and waters including enhanced monitoring natural attenuation, excavation and disposal off site and in-situ treatment, monitoring of contaminants, encapsulation / provision of capping layers for soils / made ground containing asbestos and other contaminants, validation / verification, significant element of earthworks, multi-phase handovers and the construction of 244 social and affordable housing units in an urban location.
