Supply of 4 quantum systems and their maintenance as part of the European BE-QCI project for the deployment and testing of a QKD network (Quantum Key Distribution) for a period of 2 years in other batches. Belnet, following a call for projects launched in 2022 by the European Commission, is part of the consortium set up as part of the project, BE-QCI, which aims to deploy and test the first Belgian network with quantum encryption keys (QKD), by implementing quantum communication infrastructures (QCI). These quantum technologies will have a huge impact on the internet of the future and will offer a considerable level of data security. This project is part of a program (DIGITAL-2021-QCI-01) launched by the European Union that wants, by developing its own secure quantum communication infrastructure (program called "EuroQCI") and the "industrial QCI ecosystem", to safeguard its own future cybersecurity.
