Measurement accompanying planning

The A81 motorway runs in a north-south direction from Würzburg to near the Swiss border with Gottmadingen. In this section, it connects the two major centres of Stuttgart and Heilbronn. Approximately in the middle of this section lies the large district town of Ludwigsburg. It is connected to the A81 motorway by the two junctions AS Ludwigsburg-Nord and AS Ludwigsburg-Süd. The length of the section between the Ludwigsburg-Nord and Ludwigsburg-Süd junctions from construction km 564+350 to construction km 569+100 is approx. 4.75 km. The Ludwigsburg-Nord junction connects the A81 with the B27. At the Ludwigsburg-Süd junction, the L 1140 is linked to the A81. The AS Ludwigsburg-Süd is located in the municipal areas of the city of Ludwigsburg and the municipality of Möglingen.

The present measure comprises the structural adaptations for the installation of the temporary hard shoulder clearance (TSF) on the A81 motorway between the Ludwigsburg-Süd junction and the Ludwigsburg-Nord motorway junction in the district of Ludwigsburg. The TSF is to be set up as part of the route control system (SBA) set up between the Leonberg junction and the Mundelsheim junction. South of the Ludwigsburg-Süd junction, the SBA went into operation on 24.03.2014. The TSF will primarily achieve a stabilization and harmonization of the traffic volume, which is forecast to increase to up to approx. 141,000 vehicles/24h by 2035.

For the further planning of transport facilities and engineering structures in the area of the construction project, surveying services must be provided during planning.

The subject of the contract is surveying services to establish a consistent planning basis for the present construction project. On the basis of local data collection by means of a terrestrial survey as well as other data to be procured and incorporated, the inventory is to be mapped in the planning area.

The following services are to be performed:

o Determination of surveying principles,

o Participation in the local announcement of the surveying work,

o Expansion of the project-related basic network,

o Transfer and preparation of existing survey data,

o Basic local data collection,

o preparation of basic surveying plans,

o Create digital terrain models.
