The contracting authority invites tenderers to a contest for the procurement of syringe and volume pumps with accessories and equipment dependent consumables for the health trusts in the Southern and Eastern Regional Health Authority.

The equipment will be used in hospitals, institutions, and prehospital. The syringe/volume pumps must be suitable for the infusion of various fluids and medicament infusions. The equipment must be suitable for seamless flow across units and departments within each health trust. The tender does not include syringe/volume pumps for air transport.

The contract only applies for hospitals that intend to replace their fleet in the contract period, and for hospitals that have replaced their fleet under the contract.

Options for service contracts and services must be offered in addition.

The estimated volume for procurements of equipment in the contract period is:

- Syringe pumps; estimated procurement 4,000 and maximum procurement 5,600

- Volume pumps; estimated procurements 3,500 and maximum procurement 5,500

- Rack; estimated procurement 1,200 and maximum procurement 2,200 

The estimated volume for the procurement of equipment dependent consumables for volume pumps in the equipment's lifetime (10 years) is estimated to the procurement of 3,861,800 infusion sets and a maximum procurement of 5,910,000 infusion sets.

The estimated volume is based on available statistics and estimated consumption, possibly a randomly chosen number in order to be able to make a price calculation of consumption. The estimate is only a guideline and is in no way binding for the Contracting Authority or Customers.
