Ålesund kommunale eigedom KF (ÅKE), hereafter called the Builder, will construct a new childrens and respite care home with an accompanying activity base at Bristningstubben in Flisneset.

The project will hereafter be called 'Bristningstubben'. The target group is children with high care and treatment needs. The basic thinking for the building is that it will be a home for those who live there, whether they live there permanently or are only there for short periods of time. The building's aesthetic expression must be adapted to the character of the housing in the area. The facade must not have institutional characteristics. The inside and outside design must be functional, adapted to use and need, promote physical activity, and be a place that is safe and good to be in. The aim is that the new building is a flexible, functional, and robust building at the right price. This is so that Ålesund Municipality can provide the correct services to the user group, at the same time that the building is run efficiently.

The procurement is initiated with this qualification (stage 1). This stage of the procurement process includes a qualitative selection of qualified tenderers who will be invited to submit tenders (phase 2).
