Conclusion of a framework agreement with a trading partner (contractor) for the purchase of Microsoft products on the basis of the BMI condition contracts.

a) The object of the award is the conclusion of a framework agreement with a trading partner (contractor) for the purchase of Microsoft products under volume licensing agreements with and without Software Assurance (SA), as well as other services related to the acquisition and management of these products. The basis for this is the terms contracts concluded between the Federal Republic of Germany, represented by the Federal Ministry of the Interior for Construction and Home Affairs (BMI), and Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., and, if applicable, the contracts that replace the framework agreement during the term of the framework agreement.

b) The framework agreement should have a term of three years with a one-off extension option of one year.

c) The Free State of Thuringia and thus the authorities of the Thuringia state administration, the administrative divisions of Thuringia universities and higher education institutions, and other Thuringian institutions are entitled to issue accession orders and calls on the basis of this framework agreement. The eligible entities are listed in detail in Appendix 3 of the Framework Agreement, which is part of the published procurement documents.

The accessions of eligible institutions refer to the BMI Enterprise Agreement terms contract and the BMI Select Plus condition agreement. Joins to the BMI Select-Plus terms contract are only possible from 13.09.2022, as an existing trading partner framework agreement will still be used until then.
