The services advertised are to be provided both for the IT basis consisting of cloud and on-premises services as well as selected SAP applications to support the business and technical processes of the EAM group of companies. The services are intended to ensure that around 1,400 EAM employees can fully use these required IT services and applications at around 50 locations in Germany.
The services advertised cover 2 lots and are to be provided in the following areas: IT service management, maintenance, help desk and on-site service, application management, application enhancements, information security and data protection. During the term of the contract, the existing SAP architecture must also be transformed to the future SAP S/4 HANA architecture.
IT basis serviceIn lot 1, the services in the areas of IT service management, maintenance and help desk as well as information security and data protection are to be provided. They relate to Microsoft cloud services as well as EAM's own IT infrastructure services (on premises). In detail, these are device services, back office infrastructure services, application basic services, network & connectivity services and compute & storage services. Device services are also to be provided at the decentralized locations of the EAM Group.
IT service management to be provided for lots 1 and 2 is aligned with the ITIL standard and includes, among other things, the ITIL processes event, incident, problem, change, release & deployment, availability, capacity, access, asset & configuration and IT service continuity management as well as request fulfillment.
Unlimited responsibility for the agreed services in accordance with the service level will take place from September 1, 2022.
SAP Application Management Services and SAP S4/HANA transformationApplication Management Services for SAP are to be provided in lot 2. These include services in the areas of regular operation, IT service management, maintenance, application database administration and application enhancements. The services are provided for the SAP base as well as for SAP applications FI, FI-AA, CO, MM, SD, TR, WF, PS, PM, SRM, GRC process control and records management. The SAP applications support 3 clients and 59 company codes and are used by 1,300 employees. During the term of the contract, the existing SAP architecture must be transformed to the future SAP S/4 HANA architecture. Application Management Services are to be provided both for the SAP applications currently used by EAM and after the transformation for the comparable SAP applications under S/4 HANA.
