On the basis of a functional specification and the existing building permits, the district of Peine intends to build two new sports halls in Vechelde and Lengede, each with an area of 700 m² and 900 m². For this purpose, the district is looking for a general contractor / total contractor who, on the basis of the existing building permits and a functional construction work description with detailed master detail planning, takes over all necessary construction services (including equipment services) as well as the still necessary execution plans and finances them temporarily until acceptance.
Maintenance must be provided within the extended warranty period, including the adjustment of the technical systems. The financing services include only interim construction financing.
For the implementation of the project, the district plans to carry out an overall award on the basis of a functional construction specification with detailed planning. The building permits for both sports halls have already been obtained.
The building application for the sports hall in Vechelde has been approved on the basis of a supporting structure consisting of reinforced concrete and wooden columns with glulam roof trusses and a board stacking ceiling. The walls consist of board stacking panels with external insulation and a rear-ventilated curtain wall (VHF).
The planning application for the Lengede sports hall has been approved on the basis of a supporting structure made of steel frames, steel purlins and insulated sandwich roof elements. The walls of the sports hall consist of concrete cavity wall elements with external insulation and cladding with fibre-cement façade panels. The upper end of the façade is formed by a strip of light as a mullion-transom construction with a light-scattering glazing. The lower connecting building with the entrance area and the changing areas consists of masonry walls with a reinforced concrete ceiling made of prefabricated panels. The specialist planner for the structural design has already been commissioned by the client for all work phases and must be involved by the contractor. The remuneration of the planning and construction services takes place after completion and acceptance of the respective sports hall. The financing services include the necessary interim construction financing at the risk of the contractor. The maintenance and adjustment flat rates are remunerated separately. The contract is to be awarded to a total contractor/general contractor in a negotiated procedure with a competitive bid pursuant to § 3a EU Abs. 2 VOB/A.
For the application in the participation competition, proof and explanations from a construction company and an architect for the execution planning are expected, who will work together to prepare an offer after successful prequalification and, if the contract is awarded, provide the services together.
