Employee and social counseling includes psychosocial support for all employees working in the client's business area for a wide range of problems. It is primarily provided on the initiative of the employee. They also have the opportunity to take advantage of employee and social counselling.
Employees should be able to reach the contractor both by telephone and in person from Monday to Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Personal advice and support can take place both in the contractor/contractor's own premises (advice center) and on site in the above-mentioned departments - i.e. the consultant visits the employees at their workplace. If necessary, home visits or accompaniment to clinics, authorities and other public institutions are permitted with the consent of the employee. However, the most personal counselling and supervision meetings should be carried out in the counselling centre; these must be located in the state of Berlin or the state of Brandenburg.
In order to get to know the departments and present themselves and the advisory services, the contractor visits all departments at the beginning of the contract period. If necessary, getting to know each other can also be done online.
If necessary, a referral should be made to counselling centres specialized in the respective area addressed by the person seeking advice, preferably in the state of Brandenburg. Chargeable examinations, medical treatments and therapies are excluded from employee and social counseling.
Employees have the right to take advantage of employee and social counselling without the department being informed about this. A prior inquiry or notification to supervisors is expressly not required. The contractor may only inform the service about the content of employee and social counselling to the extent that this is expressly requested and permitted by the employee in writing. The reporting obligation remains unaffected.
A total of 5,012 people are to be looked after (as of January 1, 2022). Fluctuations in the number of employees lead to a corresponding adjustment of the contractor's consulting services, but not to an adjustment of the flat-rate remuneration; the option of reevaluating the flat-rate remuneration in connection with the start of the new legislative period remains unaffected by this (see 5. pricing).
