As part of the redevelopment measures for the redevelopment area "Berne - Historicher Ortskern", the existing thoroughfare is to be redesigned and repaired. The content of this procedure is the award of the general planning services, including the planning of the road construction as well as the sewage and rainwater channels.

The content of the contract concerns the general planning services, consisting of the transport facilities (road construction, estimated cost 1 850 000 EUR) and the engineering structures (storm sewers, estimated cost 275 000 EUR; waste water sewers, estimated cost 385 000 EUR). The assignment takes place in stages and initially only affects the service phases 1-4.

The planning services for the road construction and rainwater sewers are commissioned in the name of Niedersächsische Landgesellschaft mbH as a fiduciary redevelopment agency on behalf of the municipality of Berne. The planning services for the sewers are commissioned in the name and for the account of the Oldenburg-Ostfriesischer Wasserverband.
