The Information Office for Fruit and Vegetables invites tenderers to a tender contest for an e-learning programme for a canteen course for persons who work with or in canteens/larders in secondary schools.
The canteen course shall include theory, inspiration and practical advice and the aim is to contribute to Norwegian secondary schools having an offer that is in accordance with the National Guidelines for Food and Meals in Schools, issued by the Directorate of Health.
The Directorate of Health and the Information Office for Fruit and Vegetables have previously developed information material, a course concept and other forms of competence raising and idea exchange/inspiration for use in canteen courses for sixth form colleges and working life. Based on this, a pilot shall be first tested in the target group. A web course is to be developed parallel to the scheme of physical courses. The internet course and the course scheme for the practical courses shall be connected, but they must be able to be taken independent of each other. The courses shall be developed together with the target group. The tool must be flexible enough to suit most forms of secondary school canteens.
The Directorate of Health will be responsible for the professional content in the e-learning programme and it will own the programme.
