The city of Emsdetten is planning to expand the black and white area of its fire station (Buckhoffstraße 8, 48282 Emsdetten). The fire station was planned and built in the early 1980s (construction started on 20.12.1982). The planning was based on a fire brigade with approximately 70-80 emergency personnel.

The establishment of a SW separation is urgently required in order to meet the requirements for occupational and accident protection for the emergency services of the Emsdetten fire brigade.

The existing building is to be expanded to include an extension for black and white separation - storage of firefighters' personal and work clothing in different rooms - as well as showers, etc.

As part of the necessary expansion, additional premises are to be built, which are necessary for the service operation of the fire brigade. The expansion is therefore intended to create additional premises for training and events, among other things.

For the purpose of expansion, the middle road is to be partially deconstructed and built over by an extension to the existing fire station.

The planning services are provided including service phase 3 (design planning) in accordance with § 51 HOAI. From now on, the specialist planning services (structural engineering) for service phases 4 - 6 are to be awarded in accordance with § 51 HOAI.
