In total, the AG has a need for 15 vehicles, of which 10 new buses and coaches (KOM) articulated low-floor buses with diesel drive (Lot 1), 2 new buses and coaches (KOM) Solo low-floor buses Low-Entry with diesel drive (Lot 2) and 3 new buses and coaches (KOM) Articulated low-floor buses with battery-electric drive including associated charging infrastructure (Lot 3). The area of application of the newly procured vehicles covers the entire route network of the AG. The delivery schedule currently stipulates that five vehicles from lot 1 are to be delivered and put into operation by 30.11.2023, five vehicles by 30.11.2024, three vehicles from lot 3 by 31.03.2025 as well as the entire charging infrastructure by the 4th quarter of 2024 and two vehicles from lot 2 by 30.11.2026. In order to secure the schedule, the Contractor will have to adhere to a delivery rhythm to be agreed with the Client.

Delivery will take place for five vehicles by 30.11.2023 and five vehicles by 30.11.2024. These buses and coaches must be put into operation according to BOKraft and can be used for passenger operation without restrictions in the network of the AG. The object of the order also includes transport, commissioning, training and documentation. The vehicles and their safety concept must be manufactured in accordance with the usual relevant legislation and the current generally accepted rules of technology. For acceptance by the Client, the vehicles (including the documentation to be supplied) must comply with all applicable laws, standards and official requirements, in particular, but not exclusively: European standards (EN), DIN standards or DIN-VDE regulations, VDV regulations, BG regulations (BGV) / accident prevention regulations (UVV), International standards: International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
