The subject of the contract is to conduct winter maintenance of municipal roads in the City and Commune of Wieliczka in the winter season 2022/2023. The detailed scope of winter road maintenance in the City and Commune of Wieliczka 2022/2023 has been described in detail in Annexes B, C, D to SWZ. The task is divided into three parts of the contract. Winter maintenance will cover roads and streets of the following total length: Part I of the order – approx. 68 507 m, Part II of the order – approx. 64,270 m, Part III of the order – approx. 62,851 m. A significant part of the municipal roads in the Wieliczka Commune is located in a hilly area.

1. The subject of the contract is to conduct winter maintenance of municipal roads in the City and Commune of Wieliczka in the winter season 2022/2023. The detailed scope of winter road maintenance in the City and Commune of Wieliczka 2022/2023 has been described in detail in Annex B to the SWZ. 2. Winter maintenance will cover roads and streets of the following total length: Part I of the order – approx. 68 507 m, A significant part of municipal roads in the Wieliczka Commune is located in a hilly area. 3. The Ordering Party shall distinguish the following manner of performance of the subject of the contract: 3.1. Daily duty (passive duty) – the Contractor's task is to observe weather conditions, detour roads – lack of operation of equipment on the roads. The Contracting Authority provides for 70 passive duty hours during the contract execution period for each part of the contract. 3.2. Daily action (active duty) – from the moment the Contractor determines the occurrence of bad weather conditions (or at the request of the Ordering Party), conducting activities related to snow removal, sprinkling roads, removing ice. The Contracting Authority provides for 60 active duty hours during the contract execution period for each part of the contract. 3.3. The daily action (active duty) will be carried out from 00:00 on the first day to 0:00 the next day. 3.4. Commencement of winter maintenance: daily duty (passive duty) or daily action (active duty) will be appointed by an authorized representative of the Ordering Party 4 hours in advance. The appointment will be made by phone or SMS. (Advance notice may change if the time in the offer is shortened.) 3.5. In the event of stabilization of weather conditions that do not require work, the Ordering Party has the right to suspend activities related to winter maintenance and no remuneration is due for this period. An authorized representative of the Municipal Road Administration in Wieliczka may suspend the daily duty. The suspension of on-call time will take place 4 hours in advance by phone or SMS. Re-commencement of winter maintenance (daily duty (passive duty) or daily action (active duty)) after their suspension takes place on the terms set out in point 3.4). The Contractor is obliged to achieve full readiness for work within a maximum of 4 hours and start (start) winter maintenance (daily duty (passive duty) or daily action (active duty)). (The start of winter road maintenance may change if the time specified in the offer is shortened.)
