Through a previous framework agreement, the Geological Survey of Finland has adopted the Qlik Sense Business Intelligence platform to promote the development of knowledge-based management. With this acquisition, we are looking for a partner to be responsible for the development and further services of the Qlik Sense BI platform, as well as support and maintenance services. The license management service is within the scope of service support until 2025, so the management service is not part of this purchase.

The description of the procurement target includes a description of the current state of GTK's Qlik environment, data flow, implementation of development services and use of the platform, as well as a description of the support and maintenance service produced alongside it. The description presents GTK's needs and requirements for support, maintenance and development services for the Qlik platform and licences, development targets for GTK's Qlik environment in the near future, and the future target state as a SaaS service.

GTK has developed knowledge-based management, overall picture formation, measurement and reporting since 2016. The measurement practices renewed in 2020 have become an established part of management work and knowledge-based decision-making. The starting point for the overall development has been to increase the automation of data transfer and reduce the need for manual reporting.

The Qlik Sense platform has been used as a Business Intelligence (BI) analytics solution platform. The developed environment has been given the working name GTK Qlik. This refers to utilizing the Qlik Sense BI platform in various monitoring, reporting and analysis processes.
