The legal mandate of gematik GmbH in accordance with § 291a SGB V is, among other things, the introduction and further development of the telematics infrastructure in the health sector, the electronic health card (eGK) and related specialist applications for the communication between health professionals, hospitals, payers and insured persons. The bowl generation service is a mandatory component of the infrastructure and a prerequisite for the provision of an approved electronic health record by the health insurance companies for the insured persons as of 1.1.2021 (§ 291a para. 5c sentence 10 SGB V). The subject of the call for tenders is the development, provision and operation of a scalable and stable key generation service according to the specifications of the Technical Specification for use by providers of electronic health records. The main task of the future contractor will be the development, provision and operation of a scalable and stable key generation service according to the specifications of the Technical Specification for use by providers of electronic health records. Content of the service to be awarded is thus:

1) providing a key generation service (SGD 2) in the TI;

2) Provision of an approved SGD-HSM product as part of the SGD 2 and

3) the operation of this SGD 2 in the TI.

SGB V and data protection regulations. The contractor shall assume responsibility for the successful fulfillment of the contract by concluding the contract.
