Southern Water Services Limited (SWS) were looking to appoint a provider capable to supply electricity to their Half-Hourly Electricity Portfolio and offering a wide range of services associated with this activity. The supply commencement date is 1st of April 2025.
SWS’s Half Hourly electricity portfolio currently consists of 600 supply points
across different sites with total annual usage circa 370GWh making SWS one of
the largest energy users in South of England. Historically, the demand shape could
be considered relatively flat/stable and whilst it is SWS’s ambitions to increase the
renewable generation during the term of this Framework Agreement, the overall
HH demand has potential to increase as well. Any significant demand fluctuations
or changes expected during the term of supply will be shared with the Service
Provider as soon as practicable.
The scope of this tender includes (but is not limited to) the following services:
• Half Hourly Electricity Supply to all relevant SWS’s sites as per our portfolio
documentation (see HH portfolio data included with the tender documents)
• Additions of sites (e.g. new connections and change of measurement class)
• Removal of sites (e.g. decommissioning and de-energising)
• Reporting and analytics services
• Account management services
• Billing services
• Energy efficiency programmes and initiatives
• Sleeving
• REGOs
• Decarbonisation programme options
• Innovations
• Other services associated with the supply of half hourly electricity to SWS’
portfolio.
