The State Office for Foreigners Affairs Schleswig-Holstein (LfA) currently operates state accommodations (LUK) in Neumünster, Boostedt, Rendsburg and Bad Segeberg. The total capacity is approx. 2,100 seats. The initial reception facility is located in Neumünster.

The number of places and the respective occupancy are subject to fluctuations. Locations can be added or properties can be closed.

The languages required depend on the countries of origin of the residents of the LUK as well as those accommodated in the AHE and are subject to constant changes. The number of interpreters required depends on the access numbers and can fluctuate greatly. This also applies to the following regular interpreting assignments, which are regularly checked and adjusted as required.

To carry out the so-called EASY registration, foreigners must register personally with a reception center in accordance with Section 22 Asylum Act (Asylum Act). As part of the registration process, an asylum seeker is assigned to the initial reception facility that is responsible for him. The EASY system is an IT application used by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) for the initial distribution of asylum seekers to the German federal states. As part of this initial contact, interpreting services are to be provided.

The State Office for Foreigners' Affairs (LfA) is the responsible immigration office for asylum seekers accommodated in the LUK. Interpreting services are also to be provided as part of legal support from abroad.

In addition, optional interpreting services for current or future tasks of the LfA are to be provided. This includes, among other things, project-related interpreting and translation activities and the optional use of medical language mediators / interpreters.

For the missions at the LfA locations, travel allowances can be specified, which are then valid for all missions at the respective location. The travel flat rates are relevant to the valuation. The stakes are fundamentally remunerated according to the time required. Flat rates can be charged for certain assignments. These are also relevant to the valuation.
