Since the autumn of 2008, Tallinn University of Technology has been using a legacy system called the Study Activities Management Information System, i.e. the Study Information System (ÕIS). Due to the general obsolescence of the system, the renewed business needs of the university and the changed technical context and assumptions, in order to continue and further develop the university's teaching services, it is necessary to carry out changes and additions to the created parts of the system, to exchange the components of the system for more modern ones, and to create new ones.
In addition, the university needs additional competencies and resources to ensure the operation of legacy systems until it is possible to replace them with modern solutions.
