Purpose of the services: DESIGNATION OF A CLEANING / SMALL MAINTENANCE COMPANY FOR THE KANAL FOUNDATION (2023 -2024).

Comment: The purpose of this contract is the following services, carried out at the premises of the KANAL Foundation and their surroundings:

- Various cleaning services:

Cleaning is a care and maintenance operation of premises and equipment whose primary objective is to ensure a pleasant appearance and a level of cleanliness, comfort and hygiene. This operation of removal of particular dirt, organic or liquid is carried out by a process respecting the condition of the treated surfaces and using, in varying proportions, the following combined factors: chemical action, mechanical action, temperature and action time. In some cases, cleaning is supplemented by specific actions to combat certain contaminants, microbial, particulate. It is thus bio-cleaning which, after the evacuation of dirt and products, completes the action of cleaning by the application of active disinfectants on unwanted microorganisms.

- The supply of consumables and equipment as well as the administrative and stock management of supplies and equipment:

Products, consumables, supplies, tools, machinery, work and protective equipment, uniforms are provided by the successful bidder.

- The realization of small punctual works of development and maintenance:

The successful bidder is able to provide the KANAL Foundation with staff capable of carrying out small plumbing, carpentry, locksmithing, painting, handling and moving work.

- The punctual provision of logistical resources:

The successful bidder is able to punctually provide the KANAL Foundation with vehicles (20m³ truck, van ...) and lifting means (forklift, nacelle ...) to support the various activities in terms of logistics.

- Square Sainctelette 11-12 1000 Brussels: Offices of the KANAL Foundation

- Quai des Matériaux 3 1000 Brussels: Current operating site of the KANAL Foundation

The performance of the contract is subject to the technical conditions described in these specifications and its annexes defining all the services to be performed and the equipment and materials to be maintained.

The information contained in the various annexes attached to the special specifications is provided as an indication, the successful tenderer must check these annexes throughout the duration of his contract.

The K1 building receives the public and occasionally houses works of art. It is therefore essential that the successful tenderer always bear in mind that the services he performs under this contract must comply with all the constraints of preservation of the assets and safety and security of persons and property.

The assumption of responsibility for the services defined in this file constitutes a contract with an obligation of results and the implementation of minimum means in order to guarantee the maintenance and quality of cleaning.

The quality of the cleaning is verified by examining the following four criteria:

- Appearance;

- Comfort;

- Cleanliness;

- Hygiene.

Appearance is the first visual impression of sharpness and cleanliness offered by a room and its equipment.

Comfort is appreciated through perceptions (olfactory, tactile, auditory) and the general impression of well-being that results from the operation.
