The city of Oelde intends to build a new multifunctional triple sports hall in the area of the intersection of Wiedenbrücker Straße/"Zur Axt". The hall will be used both as a sports hall and for events with up to 1,200 spectators. The subject of this procedure is the awarding of contracts for civil engineering work and explosive ordnance detection. (A more detailed description of the project can be found in Section II.2.4).
The city of Oelde is planning the construction of a new multifunctional triple sports hall in the area of the intersection Wiedenbrücker Straße/"Zur Axt" in 59302 Oelde. The new building is necessary due to undercapacities of hall space in the area of the school landscape of the city of Oelde - but is also intended to serve the training and competition operations of the sports clubs at the same time. In addition to the three hall areas, the hall will also have a permanent grandstand with a capacity of 392 seats. This is complemented by an extendable telescopic grandstand, which offers seating for 400 people and 8 wheelchair spaces plus 400 seats through seating.
The site was cleared in 2021 and brought to an almost uniform height level by means of sand filling. Since then, the construction site has remained essentially untouched. The services end with a ballast base course, on which the cleanliness layer is applied by the subsequent trade.
Civil engineering work/explosive ordnance detection:
For the three-field sports hall to be built on the construction site, a subsoil improvement is to be made by means of vibrating tamping columns with a supporting cushion based on them.
The main services:
- Preparation of statics for subsoil improvement
- Open spaces of the site
- ordnance sounding
- Subsoil improvement by means of vibrating tamping columns
- Create a flat surface with filter fleece
- Create a levelling layer and base layer
