Metropolitan Housing Trust Ltd is seeking to establish a construction partner framework, to undertake construction works for large new build and regeneration schemes in-side and outside London, the schemes will vary in size, nature and complexity, typically however any one scheme would be in the region of 100 to 300 units per year.

Note that annual turnover of the contracting organisation must exceed the minimum requirement for participation of 300 000 000 GBP. (This has been calculated on the basis of a programme exposure of 50 000 000 - 70 000 000 per annum). Dependent on the volume of bidders the Metropolitan Housing Trust Limited may consider turnovers of up to 10 % less than 300 000 000 GBP turnover - 270 000 000 GBP.

Joint Ventures and Consortiums may be considered, would have to satisfy the requirements of the questionnaire as a collective and be in existence at least 4 weeks before the intended framework award.

From the new JCT framework, it is intended that the projects/programmes of work will be procured using the Design and Build (or other from the JCT suite) Procurement route and the JCT Form of Contract (amended).
