Lever House Feasibility Study - Decolonization Interpretive Centre

This contract concerns the realization of a feasibility study relating to the development of a Centre for documentation, debates, animations and exhibitions devoted to the colonial question in Brussels and Belgium in an international context. This Centre will be considered within the Lever House building located at 150-152 rue Royale. It will also be a question of studying the programming of this place.

The mission aims to provide the Region (Urban) and its Government with all the practical elements enabling it to implement a project for a Centre for documentation, debates, events and exhibitions devoted to the colonial question in Brussels / Belgium in an international context; this Centre is to be developed in the Lever House (rue Royale 150-152 in Brussels).

The study must make it possible to define with sufficient precision the contours of the project, including its budgetary component, so that the Region can start negotiations for the financing of the project (if necessary via Beliris with the prior agreement of the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region).

The definition of the project will take into account the needs of the sector and the institutions concerned and the study will determine its economic feasibility as well as the needs in terms of both investment and operating budget.
