The Authority has a requirement for the shipment of waste and recyclable materials from facilities on the Mainland of Orkney to various locations in Scotland.

The contractor will be required to provide articulated trailers for loading of 'waste materials for recycling' in baled, bagged, palletised or loose format by the Authority. These materials will be loaded by the Authority at its facilities, located with 6 miles of Kirkwall on the Orkney Mainland.

The contractor will subsequently transfer full trailers for disposal or recycling to facilities designated by the Authority to Scotland.
