The state road construction authority of Saxony-Anhalt, regional area East, is planning the new construction of the B 107n of the Oranienbaum bypass. The project is included in the Federal Transport Infrastructure Plan (BVWP) 2030 under the number B 107-G10-ST as a new project with an urgent need. The project registration for the BVWP includes the two-lane new building of the OU Oranienbaum.
The local transit area (OD) Oranienbaum is burdened with approx. 8,000 vehicles every day. The existing routing parameters are no longer compliant with today's regulations. Therefore, the construction of a bypass (OU) is necessary. The following points can be improved through the new building of the OU Oranienbaum: the OD is relieved of through traffic, an overload of the OD due to frequent major events in Ferropolis is avoided, there is a reduction in environmental and environmental pollution in adjacent local areas, an increase in traffic performance and Efficiency of the examined federal road, increase of the accessibility and connection qualities within the investigation area, guarantee of an appropriate quality of the location.
