The subject matter of the FWC is the provision of assistance to the Agency for the use of technical standards and studies supporting the development of new technologies.

Assistance to the Agency for the use of technical standards and technology in the following service area:

— interoperability;

— undertake feasibility studies into the availability and maturity of new technology in order to resolve identified safety issues;

— identification of the use of standards to support the Agency’s activities;

— other services such as providing technical expertise in the areas of EUROCAE membership competence or the development of support guidance material.
